Upcoming SAPC Meeting

Has your family been affected by substance abuse? Concerned about the drug abuse you see happening in your school? Worried about the heroin epidemic happening in your community? Step in to make a difference by volunteering with the Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition of Warren County!

We’ve all seen the stories scrolling across our news feed. But sometimes those stories are no longer happening somewhere else but occurring right in our town or even our family.

Do you have a vision on how to make our community better? Volunteers are a vital part of the coalition. And now is a great time to get in on the ground floor.

Volunteers can work on a current committee in just a few hours a week. Or attend an event to raise awareness on the resources available in the community. Currently, we need volunteers to place Tobacco Free Campus signs at schools and businesses in Warren county. Signs are 8 x12 in size and weatherproof, making them ideal for both inside and outside use.

More of a visionary? If you have a big vision or idea of your own, there are opportunities to set your own idea into motion by starting up a new committee.

There are many opportunities to join (or create!) a committee, work an event, or attend a training. If you know of someone who wants to be involved in the Coalition, invite them to join us. We are now meeting in person the first Thursday of the month at Warren County Administration Building located at 406 Justice Drive (Room 350), Lebanon, OH. 45036. A Zoom option is also currently available.

Our next meeting is Thursday, October 6th at 9am-10:30am at 406 Justice Drive (Room 350), Lebanon, Ohio 45036.
