Great Day in DC at CADCA. Today was Capital Hill Day! We were able to meet with staff from the office of Congressman Steve Chabot to advocate for Substance Abuse Prevention in the state of Ohio along with other agencies and coalitions from Ohio.
Very proud of the Teen Alliance Council for donating 27 pairs of pajamas today to be given to Warren County Children’s Services. The teens chose this as their Christmas service project. Nice job!
Coalition Academy was held at Great Wolf Lodge in Mason Ohio and sponsored by PreventionFirst! PreventionFIRST! will hosted its one day behavioral health prevention regional conference in October 2017.
This conference is designed to bring community members and prevention professionals together from Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana to strengthen coalitions and improve the impact of prevention in all local communities. PreventionFIRST! The next Coalition Academy conference will be on Tuesday, October 9 2018.
